US Hybrid offers comprehensive engineering expertise and experience in vehicle power-trains and components, including dc-dc converters, energy management systems and high-performance AC motors and controllers. US Hybrid’s products utilize state-of-art power converter topologies and components to provide reliable and cost effective integrated system solutions. The company’s technical services and products are targeted for OEM applications. US Hybrid is a supplier to United Technologies for the Integrated Motor Drive Unit for the Fuel Cell Power Plant.
US Hybrid has designed and manufactured cost-effective integrated components for OEM applications, for US and international customers, to enhance system performance, not only for electric and hybrid ultra-light duty and small vehicles and scooters but also integrated motor drives.
US Hybrid has a cadre of highly-experienced management and design engineers. US Hybrid’s facility is equipped with advanced analysis diagnostic tools, power high-pot testing equipment, digital storage scope and 200kW and 12kW dynamometers.
History
In 2000, US Hybrid was founded by Dr. Gordon Abas Goodarzi, Ph.D., P.E. Dr. Goodarzi’s career spans more than 20 years in the fields of power electronics, energy management systems, renewable energy, energy storage, motor controls, motors and controllers. Dr. Goodarzi has worked with Hughes Aircraft Company as technical director for the development of General Motor EV1 drive train, Jet Propulsion Laboratories advanced AC drive project engineer, US Windpower, 300kW variable speed wind generation and Systronics co-founder. US Hybrid’s technical team has been involved with electric-drive systems and vehicle testing and evaluations since 1982.
